PLYMOUTH, Minn. – June 24, 2022 – Amid reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued warnings of a “Night of Rage” following the Dobbs v. Jackson U.S. Supreme Court decision, Republican-endorsed candidate for Minnesota Attorney General Jim Schultz today called upon Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison to condemn all violence and work with state and local officials to commit the necessary resources to protect all Minnesotans.
“Violent attacks from pro-abortion extremists is not a hypothetical – it is sadly already a fact. On Friday, June 17th, the FBI announced that it was investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country. At least 27 pregnancy resource centers and pro-life organizations have been violently attacked since May 2nd,” Schultz noted.
“With credible threats from extremist pro-abortion terror groups such as Jane’s Revenge openly calling for a ‘Night of Rage’ following the Dobbs decision, it is imperative that all of Minnesota’s elected leaders, including Keith Ellison, unequivocally denounce such conduct and make clear that those who engage in or threaten violence will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
“It’s time for Keith Ellison to decide whether he stands with Minnesotans or militant pro-abortion extremists,” Schultz concluded.
